Today I was chatting with my boss about a doctor, who will scream at her staff for no particular reason. She would actually scream at her staff to go home and not do OT...she will scream at them during meetings. Perhaps she meant well when she asked her staff to go home early...perhaps she was just talking at the top of her voice...perhaps she doesn't know how to express herself properly, cos afterall she is not a local. I can sense that her command of english is not that good...:X and all these are from a female's perspective.
From my boss' perspective, who is a male, he said, "She is a female mah, most females are like that one...usually females who can control their emotions well are very successful...maybe next time you will be like that also..haha."
Quite true also...I believe people with high EQ can go far..even without high IQ. :)
But I always tell myself this:- if one day I were to be someone at a high level, I will tell and remind myself not be like her. Many a times when I come across bosses whom I don't like, I will tell myself not to be like them in the future, cos these types of behaviour are not well-liked. I do learn form people's behaviour ;) If I didn't do IT, I would have done psychology...serious...

Batam Trip (30/03/2007 - 01/04/2007)

A few colleagues and I arranged to go to Batam for a short trip after some 3 weeks of planning. We had our "tour guide" to bring us around. I believe he had a hard time planning, arranging the transport and accomodation for us...hey..thanks friend...:) We had a fun time there, although I believe all of us felt tired by the end of the trip. We went to Waterfront City for games and visited quite a few resorts. Those resorts looked so relaxing by the sea. This is the first time that all of us went overseas (although this was a short one). Hope we will have many other opportunities in the future ;)
